Into My World
This is an acrylic on canvas painting that I did over the summer. I hated it at first because I like dark colors but it grew on me the more I looked at it.

The texture is from gesso applied with a pallet knife. After gesso is dry I paint a color over it and wipe with a paper towel. I came upon this technique when I was in college and accidentally put to much paint on my canvas. :)

Behind Those Eyes
This is charcoal. It is my favorite medium. I love the way you take away (with an eraser) and add with charcoal. I started this drawing when I was teaching the Young Women in my ward. I finished it for a silent auction. I would love to become better and maybe have some of my drawings put in a gallery some day.
The Scarlet Scene
This is Acrylic on canvas. I applied gesso with a pallet knife to get the texture. I love the rich colors. I hope to put this up in my living room I just need to find a nice frame for it.
